We meet a lot of fantastic couples in our line of work; couples in love are generally fairly easy to get along with! From our first meeting with Carly and Jack though, we knew that their wedding was going to be something pretty special. We pulled together the best team our island had to offer for these two, with a couple of Melbourne imports too.
Choosing one of their favourite destinations, Freycinet on Tasmania's east coast, Carly and Jack brought together family and close friends from near and far to share in their celebration at Freycinet Lodge. The weather ensured their guests experienced multiple seasons in one day, however with our favourite celebrant Rachael Calvert at the helm, what's a couple of location changes mid-ceremony?! Jack & Carly's wedding was beautifully photographed by Jonathan Wherrett and our friends Jared and Jacob from Humdrum Films did an awesome job in capturing the essence of this incredible day. Carly was absolutely divine in Amaline Vitale and Jack goes down as one of the most handsomely attired grooms I've worked with in his Oscar Hunt suit. The talented Sophia Pafitis and Ben O'Brien did Carly's make up and hair, and Jack and Carly's guests indulged in a banquet of Tasmania's finest produce on custom curved tables in front of an open fire in the Lodge before hitting the dance floor with the help of the amazing musicians from Lark Music. Jack and Carly's definitely was one wedding we'll never forget!
